Superiority spells normalcy. Normalcy defines mediocrity. Mediocrity speaks weakness.
Who would love to be weak?
So don't patronize mediocrity. Resist the flow of normalcy. Be critical of the superiors.
Break the chain. Change the system. Be unique. Be strange.
Be free to live a life of independence!

TERM LIMIT

June 29, 2009

Is Charter Change really for the interest of the people?

Congressmens’ intention for pushing Charter Change has always been suspicious in the eyes of the people. People doubt the litany of most of the politicians that Charter Change is really for the interest of the people, and that Philippines will be uplifted from the quagmire of myriad turmoil only through the amendment of the 1987 Constitution.

People cannot be blamed for suspecting most politicians’ intention behind Charter Change because pragmatically speaking, some (if not all) politicians always prioritize the “I” before the “WE” from the point they entered politics up to the moment of the next election.

"Premises"

June 20, 2009

by Conrado de Quiros (PDI, June 8, 2009)

You still think we’ll have presidential elections next year? Consider these.

First, the stick. Arroyo cannot afford to be out of power because:

One, the consequences of being out of power are fatal. Not even Marcos was universally reviled. Since October 2004, Arroyo’s approval ratings have been uniformly negative, the only president before and after Marcos to have achieved that dubious feat. The fallout from falling out of power is unthinkable—for her.

CANNY AESTHETICS

I am looking forward to an excellent masterpiece, that is, a life stroked through holistic education, splashed with the bright color of a successful career framed inside a strong, happy and loving family.

Life begins with science and ends with aesthetics. According to Albert Einstein, after a certain high level of technical skill is achieved, science tends to coalesce in aesthetics, plasticity and form. The greatest scientists are always the greatest artists as well.

WHEN ISOLATION BECAME SOLITUDE

June 19, 2009

It is better to live alone for the rest of my life than to risk being hurt as I was.

I have problem with trust versus mistrust and is having difficulty building relationships. I’m not friendly. It’s because I’m paranoid. And that’s definite.

I used to isolate myself from the crowd. And I find comfort in doing such. I feel safer being alone.

PROVEN STEREOTYPE

Pagkatapos ng tatlong taon na itinuring kitang kaibigan, narealize kong wala ka ding pinagkaiba sa kanila. Plastik ka din pala.

Pare-pareho lang kayong lahat.

HELLUVA FREAK

Not all verbal silence means neural emptiness. Silence can be equated to wisdom for when we keep silent, we conserve energy. The energy saved through silence can then be used for the most important skill a human being should hone, that is, thinking.

Most often than not, people describe me as a silent-type for most of the time, they find me not talking through my mouth. However, what they are usually unaware of is that behind my verbal silence is the mental noise produced by my freaking neurons. So my advise is, the next time you find me as if suffering from verbal constipation, don’t mind.

I might just be thinking of how on earth can physics and chemistry explain such phenomenon as love. And if x is love, what is the formula?

MEMORIES

June 14, 2009

“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.” - Albert Einstein

I admit. I had been afraid making new memories after “that” part of my life. I’ve been afraid of making memories because I fear that I might remember them.

However, sometimes, memories like “that” make me smile. Specially when I come across with quotations from prominent personalities that really attack the idea of that memory.

And sometimes, it’s good to think that Einstein’s idea and mine are somewhat parallel.

At least, my neurotransmitters may have the same velocities as his’ ^_^.

CRUDE

“Reading after a certain time diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking.” - Albert Einstein

* Banat ng mga taong tinatamad magbasa ng med-surg buk. bwahahahaha! ang galing talaga ni einstein. IDOL!
