I was afraid of making memories. I might remember them.
Being in a new environment, people always think of me as snob, quiet, cold and detached. A person who has her own world, someone who does not care about others, a loner.
I said, what’s the point of those chit-chats, of the companies, of the laughter, of the fun and of the friendship if they will never last, that they only come and go out of our lives? What’s the sense of holding something at a certain period just to let it go after some time?
Then I realized, nothing is permanent. I should face life’s reality, everything changes. Everything comes and goes. Everything needs to grow. So do I.
I need not to be afraid of making memories, of enjoying those chit-chats, of those laughter, of gaining friends, and of savoring the fun of change.
I need not to hinder my personal growth by denying that people needs to leave.
The more the people who came and went out of our lives, the greater things we learn, the greater the memories we gain.
The more we get stronger. The more meaningful our lives become.
After all, those memories will serve as our cotton that will give warmth and comfort the day we get old.
correct!

Amen to that Scribe.
Yes…people do come and go, the variance would be the length of time and their impact on you.
Go out and meet people, have fun and pick all the learnings that you could get.
